SUNSHINE TRANSPORTATION LLC...Ive owned 115 trucks over 30 years in business. Operated a 33,000 square foot shop of my own. As a truck driver, business owner and a mechanic. I found these guys fair, responsive and competent. Lost a radiator in one of my 2024 cascadias. As someone who was taught to build a truck before my father would let me drive one. This is not a big deal. Most shops and people try and tell you what a big job it is. It's just a matter of doing it. They never once said it was anything but a simple fix. I appreciate their honesty. And promptness of getting us going. Start to finish same day service. I will go back 100%

We lost our brakes ( blew a brake line ) on our way home from vacation on the NJ Turnpike. We limped into the rest area and B&L came to tow us. Nobody carried the part, so they MADE the brake line in house! The brakes are former than they have been since I owned it. They did a fantastic job bleeding the lines. Everyone from the guy who towed us, to Christina behind the desk, to Wayne who did the service advising/ managing, to the gentleman who did the work were 100% professional, pleasant and honest. The repair cost was quite reasonable too. And let me just add, while we were there, we saw people come in and completely try to lie, manipulate yell and scream at them, and they never lost their cool. Not once. Meanwhile, they let us hang there in the ac with our dogs, were kind to us and our pets and were just aces all the way with us from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for helping us and being kind to us as well as their expert repair job, that got us home safely afterward.

The caring and service was above and beyond! Mike T saw my daughter in an accident and calmed her (and me) and stayed with her until emergency services arrived. No one wants to break down on the turnpike, but when it happened to me last week I was met with honest and quick response. Towed direct to a PEP Boys for a tire replacement.

Justin came out to try and fix my passenger side mirror after some idiot knocked it off on the GWB today and did an amazing job making it more secure than I thought possible, a truly clever guy and so polite and friendly.Thank you Justin.

Sometimes bad reviews doesn’t tell the whole story , I was a little worry to come to this place because of the bad reviews but to my surprise it was quite the opposite! I took my truck in thinking I was gonna get violated with the prices LOL but my guy Mateo took care of my truck and the price was fair and much better compared to any other place around the area that won’t work you in unless you call them for road side assistance ! If you ever need something fixed ask for mateo great mechanic ! And the receptionist was great . Good customer service

B&L was awesome, Justin even found me, when i gave the wrong Mile marker(sorry again justin 😞)……he was fast, and knew what the problem was as soon as he opened the hood……i recommend they’re service to anyone……and one more thing……Justin even came to me, after falling off a 13 story latter!……Messed up leg, and still working……i tell ya, that’s dedication and a man, that’s not afraid of hard work…..thanks Justin!

Worked with me to get my son’s car back after he had a mental health breakdown on the turnpike. Kept the fees to a minimum. Honest.

Mechanic did good job on the mudflap bar! Communication was super and the response time was swift.

Getting towed off the NJ turnpike is expensive but they got my truck to my mechanic, now all is good.

B&L is amazing!They truly saved my day... My truck broke down on a trip from Virginia to Upstate New York for an important once in a lifetime medical conference. They sent a tow driver immediately, scrambled to diagnose a broken/rare starter, found a replacement and fixed it in less than 3.5hrs! I was back on the road in time for the conference... I could not be happier.Special kudos to JOSE who was the face of the company as the tow driver. He was polite, professional, funny and kept me calm and at ease. He put me in touch with some of the managers (WAYNE and PATRICK) who heard my story and jumped to the rescue. I can not thank you all enough. Driver Kenny was absolutely amazing. This is the second time he has had to tow my vehicle. Car gave him some issues but he worked it & got my car where it needed to be. Also he arrived quickly & updated me on his arrival. Very prompt. Very professional & super courteous!

B and L has great service the dispatcher was able to send out Justin the mechanic on Labor Day to help me figure out why my truck wouldn’t start and instead of giving up he went out his way to test everything to figure out the problem. Needed to get my Semi truck and trailer towed and the driver Andy was very professional and helpful and did all he could to protect my equipment! Dispatcher Timmy was very helpful as well! Definitely recommend them!

The driver Jose came to my rescue when I accidentally got my car stuck. My car was in a ver difficult spot to get out. Jose was patient and careful with my car. He was able to get my car back on the road quickly and did not damage my car in any way. I am so happy with this tow service. If I ever need a tow again I will definitely be calling B&L tow and recovery.

My wife had an accident on the Garden state parkway and the vehicle was towed to the B&L yard in Carteret. They driver was super nice and extremely helpful. The next day I went to their yard to sign the release for the vehicle and was met by staff that was caring and friendly. I am glad that B&L has the NJGSP contact because you know you're in good hands. A lot of tow companies are the exact opposite!

It the bill that any o/o don't want to pay but at least they did the job well. Truck was rescue without damage on bumper, plus very professional. Thanks

I broke down at dusk at mile marker 135 on GSP southbound last night. AAA transferred me to B&L because they can’t service the parkway. I had been able to park my truck up into the hill on the shoulder but was still uneasy with cars flying by at high speeds. Dennis called me, asked for my exact position and was with me less than 10 minutes later. Dennis’ demeanor and voice calmed me down immediately. He was professional, asked questions about what happened and explained everything he found while getting the truck up on the bed of the tow truck. Dennis stayed with me until AAA showed up and explained the situation to the driver. I will call and ask for Dennis to help me if I end up off the road again. I highly recommend B&L and Dennis.

I cannot recommend this towing company enough, you are going to be especially lucky is Dennis S is your driver. I was driving with my mom down the New Jersey turnpike and our rental car (thrifty) broke down. We were unable to contact Thrifty customer service but Dennis was able communicate with us directly. He arrived and got us out of the car safety, then drove us to a great location where we could attempt to connect with Thrifty’s assistance. I broke down on the Parkway today so needless to say it wasn’t a good day for me! However the one silver lining of that otherwise bad experience was running into Dennis S of B and L towing! Dennis S was not only extremely professional but he was also a great gentleman and a scholar of all things automotive.
