My daughter's car needed her rear brakes replaced so I reached out to B&L towing that same day (Saturday) and Tracy, the lady who answered the phone, told me to bring it in and they would take care of it. The service they provided was quick and they didn't upsell me anything. The whole job was done within a couple of hours. The price was very reasonable too. Everyone was so nice especially Tracy. She was very courteous and polite. I will recommend them to all my friends and other family members. Thumbs up guys. Your the best!

I was involved in an accident and brought my car to B&L towing & Recovery and so glad I did. They took care of everything from start to finish. They dealth with the insurance company directly, offered to set me up with a rental via my insurance company and were there with updates every step of the way. The body work done to my car was fantastic. The detail and care they put into it was just wonderful AND the work was done so much faster then I thought!! The staff was so friendly and Patrick in the body/repair shop was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them! I actually had a neighbor ask me where to go after they were hit and they were equally happy with the service and their car was hit by a box truck! Dont listen to the negative reviews, you must understand people only write reviews and have to deal with a towing or body shop on their very worst of days. Your hands are tied when you break down on GSP or NJT and you are told who is going to tow you based on where you break down. Paul came to pick up our car after we broke down and was very polite while we traveled with him to drop the car off. He was a pleasure to travel with and kept checking in to make the temperature in the truck was comfortable and asked if we needed to charge our phones. SUNSHINE TRANSPORTATION LLC...Ive owned 115 trucks over 30 years in business. Operated a 33,000 square foot shop of my own. As a truck driver, business owner and a mechanic. I found these guys fair, responsive and competent. Lost a radiator in one of my 2024 cascadias. As someone who was taught to build a truck before my father would let me drive one. This is not a big deal. Most shops and people try and tell you what a big job it is. It's just a matter of doing it. They never once said it was anything but a simple fix. I appreciate their honesty. We lost our brakes ( blew a brake line ) on our way home from vacation on the NJ Turnpike. We limped into the rest area and B&L came to tow us. Nobody carried the part, so they MADE the brake line in house! The brakes are former than they have been since I owned it. They did a fantastic job bleeding the lines. Everyone from the guy who towed us, to Christina behind the desk, to Wayne who did the service advising/ managing, to the gentleman who did the work were 100% professional, pleasant and honest. The repair cost was quite reasonable too. And let me just add, while we were there, we saw people come in and completely try to lie, manipulate yell and scream at them, and they never lost their cool. Not once. Meanwhile, they let us hang there in the ac with our dogs, were kind to us and our pets and were just aces all the way with us from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for helping us and being kind to us as well as their expert repair job, that got us home safely afterward.

Sometimes bad reviews doesn’t tell the whole story , I was a little worry to come to this place because of the bad reviews but to my surprise it was quite the opposite! I took my truck in thinking I was gonna get violated with the prices LOL but my guy Mateo took care of my truck and the price was fair and much better compared to any other place around the area that won’t work you in unless you call them for road side assistance ! If you ever need something fixed ask for mateo great mechanic ! And the receptionist was great . Good customer service

They sent a tow driver immediately, scrambled to diagnose a broken/rare starter, found a replacement and fixed it in less than 3.5hrs! I was back on the road in time for the conference... Needed to get my Semi truck and trailer towed and the driver Andy was very professional and helpful and did all he could to protect my equipment! Dispatcher Timmy was very helpful as well! Definitely recommend them!

The driver Jose came to my rescue when I accidentally got my car stuck. My car was in a ver difficult spot to get out. Jose was patient and careful with my car. He was able to get my car back on the road quickly and did not damage my car in any way. I am so happy with this tow service. If I ever need a tow again I will definitely be calling B&L tow and recovery.

My wife had an accident on the Garden state parkway and the vehicle was towed to the B&L yard in Carteret. They driver was super nice and extremely helpful. The next day I went to their yard to sign the release for the vehicle and was met by staff that was caring and friendly. I am glad that B&L has the NJGSP contact because you know you're in good hands. A lot of tow companies are the exact opposite!

I broke down at dusk at mile marker 135 on GSP southbound last night. AAA transferred me to B&L because they can’t service the parkway. I had been able to park my truck up into the hill on the shoulder but was still uneasy with cars flying by at high speeds. Dennis called me, asked for my exact position and was with me less than 10 minutes later. Dennis’ demeanor and voice calmed me down immediately. He was professional, asked questions about what happened and explained everything he found while getting the truck up on the bed of the tow truck. Dennis stayed with me until AAA showed up and explained the situation to the driver. I will call and ask for Dennis to help me if I end up off the road again. I highly recommend B&L and Dennis.

I broke down on the Parkway today so needless to say it wasn’t a good day for me! However the one silver lining of that otherwise bad experience was running into Dennis S of B and L towing! Dennis S was not only extremely professional but he was also a great gentleman and a scholar of all things automotive.
