We lost our brakes ( blew a brake line ) on our way home from vacation on the NJ Turnpike. We limped into the rest area and B&L came to tow us. Nobody carried the part, so they MADE the brake line in house! The brakes are former than they have been since I owned it. They did a fantastic job bleeding the lines. Everyone from the guy who towed us, to Christina behind the desk, to Wayne who did the service advising/ managing, to the gentleman who did the work were 100% professional, pleasant and honest. The repair cost was quite reasonable too. And let me just add, while we were there, we saw people come in and completely try to lie, manipulate yell and scream at them, and they never lost their cool. Not once. Meanwhile, they let us hang there in the ac with our dogs, were kind to us and our pets and were just aces all the way with us from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for helping us and being kind to us as well as their expert repair job, that got us home safely afterward.

Sometimes bad reviews doesn’t tell the whole story , I was a little worry to come to this place because of the bad reviews but to my surprise it was quite the opposite! I took my truck in thinking I was gonna get violated with the prices LOL but my guy Mateo took care of my truck and the price was fair and much better compared to any other place around the area that won’t work you in unless you call them for road side assistance ! My wife had an accident on the Garden state parkway and the vehicle was towed to the B&L yard in Carteret. They driver was super nice and extremely helpful. The next day I went to their yard to sign the release for the vehicle and was met by staff that was caring and friendly. I broke down at dusk at mile marker 135 on GSP southbound last night. AAA transferred me to B&L because they can’t service the parkway. I had been able to park my truck up into the hill on the shoulder but was still uneasy with cars flying by at high speeds. Dennis called me, asked for my exact position and was with me less than 10 minutes later. Dennis’ demeanor and voice calmed me down immediately. He was professional, asked questions about what happened and explained everything he found while getting the truck up on the bed of the tow truck. Dennis stayed with me until AAA showed up and explained the situation to the driver. I will call and ask for Dennis to help me if I end up off the road again. I highly recommend B&L and Dennis.
