We lost our brakes ( blew a brake line ) on our way home from vacation on the NJ Turnpike. We limped into the rest area and B&L came to tow us. Nobody carried the part, so they MADE the brake line in house! The brakes are former than they have been since I owned it. They did a fantastic job bleeding the lines. Everyone from the guy who towed us, to Christina behind the desk, to Wayne who did the service advising/ managing, to the gentleman who did the work were 100% professional, pleasant and honest. The repair cost was quite reasonable too. And let me just add, while we were there, we saw people come in and completely try to lie, manipulate yell and scream at them, and they never lost their cool. Not once. Meanwhile, they let us hang there in the ac with our dogs, were kind to us and our pets and were just aces all the way with us from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for helping us and being kind to us as well as their expert repair job, that got us home safely afterward.

I broke down at dusk at mile marker 135 on GSP southbound last night. AAA transferred me to B&L because they can’t service the parkway. I had been able to park my truck up into the hill on the shoulder but was still uneasy with cars flying by at high speeds. Dennis called me, asked for my exact position and was with me less than 10 minutes later. Dennis’ demeanor and voice calmed me down immediately. He was professional, asked questions about what happened and explained everything he found while getting the truck up on the bed of the tow truck. Smitty rescued me from the side of the parkway while traffic was at 80mph! I hit debris from someone’s negligence not securing their cargo. Smitty stayed with me the whole time to make sure I was safe. I thank him dearly.

I cannot recommend this towing company enough, you are going to be especially lucky is Dennis S is your driver. I was driving with my mom down the New Jersey turnpike and our rental car (thrifty) broke down. We were unable to contact Thrifty customer service but Dennis was able communicate with us directly. He arrived and got us out of the car safety, then drove us to a great location where we could attempt to connect with Thrifty’s assistance. Dennis provided the best service we could have asked for and handled this extremely stressful situation with thoughtfulness and kindness. I am so grateful that we were in such great hands. I broke down on the Parkway today so needless to say it wasn’t a good day for me! However the one silver lining of that otherwise bad experience was running into Dennis S of B and L towing! Dennis S was not only extremely professional but he was also a great gentleman and a scholar of all things automotive. If I ever break down again on the parkway which I hope never happens I hope I have the good fortune of running into Dennis S once again! He did a really great job!
